DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -

A Volusia County school employee was arrested on allegations of having sex with a teenager.

Michael Jones, 32, a school auditorium manager at Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, was arrested on three counts of having sex with a teenager, according to court records.

Volusia County school officials told Local 6 that Jones was removed from campus on Friday, and is not allowed to return. Jones is on paid administrative leave until the school finishes their investigation. Jones had been with Seabreeze High for seven years.

"These are the people that we trust with our children -- to teach them right from wrong -- now they're doing the wrong things to them," said Chris Garrett, who lives a few blocks from the school.

Officials said they had suspicions of something going on at the school, which is why they contacted police.

According to the report, the victim told investigators she had sex with Jones more than 100 times, including in the school closets, a Winn Dixie parking lot, her parents' home and Jones' home, which is less than a thousand yards from the highs school.

The victim also told authorities she babysat for Jones' two children, and on one occasion, Jones and his wife came home to a sick child. According to the report, Jones' wife took the child to the hospital but Jones' stayed home and had sex with the victim on his couch.

The victim said she most recently had sex with Jones on Oct. 9, according to the report.

Local 6 spoke to a former student who described Jones as being a little "too friendly" with the girls.

Perry Shirzard, 19, graduated from Seabreeze High School last year and said the same thing.

"He's been known to be kind of creepy and hang out with young girls," Shirzard said.

Jones was arrested and booked into jail but later posted $75,000 bond and was released.
