DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -

Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Kangaroo Express in Daytona Beach on Sunday.

The robber went into the convenience store and took a black, semiautomatic handgun and told the clerk “you know what time it is,” according to the Daytona Beach Police Department.

The culprit then told the clerk to “open the drawer and give me the money.”

Police said they are looking for a culprit described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 180 to 200 pounds with short hair, a thin goatee, gold teeth and aged between 20 and 30 years old.

The man was last seen wearing a white tee shirt, baggy blue jean shorts and dark colored shoes with white laces and running eastbound on Butler Street, according to police.
