DELTONA, Fla. -

A Volusia County teenager is recovering after being burned while playing with an aerosol can, authorities said.

The accident happened Wednesday night at a home in the 3000 block of Ronda Drive in Deltona, deputies said.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said the 13-year-old suffered burns around his neck and face.

The boy was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, deputies said.

Investigators have not released the boy's condition.
