Deputies: Man held teller at gunpoint in Orange County bank robbery
Man armed with handgun demands cash
Orange County sheriff's deputies are searching for at least one man who they say robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Orlando Wednesday morning.
Deputies said one man walked into the bank at 10:30 a.m. on the 3900 block of Silver Star Road wearing a black ski mask and a gray hooded sweatshirt and pointed a gun to the back of the teller's head, demanding money.
The teller was forced to put an undisclosed amount of money into a bag, according to deputies.
Deputies are investigating if another man was involved in the robbery. The search for the robber is ongoing in the Silver Star area and the man is believed to have run into the woods and had a getaway car waiting in the wings
None of the eight Wells Fargo employees or five customers were injured.
