Deputies find Palm Coast man shot in the leg

Flagler County deputies are searching for the person who shot a man in the leg.

Deputies received reports of a shooting shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Madison Green Apartments in Palm Coast.

When they arrived, deputies found 31-year-old Robert Wells with a gunshot wound to his lower left leg. Wells was taken to Florida Hospital Flagler to be treated and is expected to recover.

Investigators believe the shooting may be drug-related. They are attempting to find witnesses and don't have a description of the shooter.
