ANAHEIM, Ca. -

Fans are enjoying the magic at a big expansion to a Disney theme park out west.

Disney's California Adventure reopened on Friday after five years of upgrades.

Thousands of people camped out overnight, some sleeping at the front entrance, before flooding into the park.

The biggest feature is a 12-acre area based on the popular movie 'Cars'.

Cars Land has four attractions, including a racing ride through the desert.

Fans say it's very similar to the Test Track at Epcot, only better!

The whole expansion cost more than $1 billion.
