Disney to add Disney Junior channel

Channel will debut March 23

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Disney announced Thursday it will debut a brand new channel later this year.

Disney Junior channel will air programming feature popular childrens' characters including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, as well as new characters like Doc McStuffins.

According to a news release sent to Local 6, Disney Junior will debut March 23.
