A 21-year-old will be cited in the crash involving a day care bus carrying several children on Thursday in Deltona, sheriff's officials said.
Volusia County deputies said Kyerria Jarrells was driving the SUV and ran a red-light prior to hitting the bus, which operates for a private day care in Deltona.
Some children suffered minor injuries in the crash, which occurred around 3 p.m. on Saxon and Normandy boulevards. It's not clear how many children were on the bus.

Jarrells was airlifted to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach with a severe leg injury. Deputies said she has been cited for failure to stop at a red light and driving with a suspended license.
A witness told Local 6 they thought the SUV was speeding when it hit the bus.
"I see the SUV coming that way speeding and I think he's at the light and I see
the school bus make a big turn and it hit it in the front," said Eric Monet.
