ORLANDO, Fla. -

Dwight Howard said his last goodbye to Orlando in a full page ad placed in the Orlando Sentinel.

Howard expressed his love of Orlando and the support of the children from his foundation.

"To play the game of basketball in the NBA is a blessing and to have had the opportunity to play before the Orlando fans for eight years was truly a priviledge and an honor," Howard said in the ad.

Howard was recently let go from his contract with the Orlando Magic to become a Los Angeles Laker with mixed reactions from fans.
