ORLANDO, Fla. -

An Orlando woman faces felony charges for trying to bribe a Florida Highway Patrol trooper $3,000 to not charge her with driving under the influence, according to troopers.

Ashley Anderson, 21, was driving back from Pulse nightclub in Orlando Thursday morning just before 3 a.m. when she was pulled over for speeding, according to a report. Anderson then hit a curb as she was pulled over by the trooper.

When the trooper approached the car, they said Anderson had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes and a wristband on. She refused to get out of the car and fell down when the trooper attempted to bring her out of the car. The trooper also found an almost empty 1.75 liter bottle of tequila under Anderson's purse, according to the report.

As the trooper was taking Anderson to the DUI center, she spontaneously said she was drinking margaritas and offered to pay the trooper $3,000 to let her go, the trooper said. According to the report, Anderson continued several times to try to bribe the trooper, even though the trooper told her it was illegal.

When she got to the DUI center, she proceeded to vomit on the ground, the report states.

Anderson is being charged with two felony charges- bribery unlawful compensation reward official behavior and resisting an officer obstruction without violence. She is also being charged with driving under the influence.
