FHP investigates hit-and-run in DeLand

DeLAND, Fla. -

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a possible hit-and-run crash that occurred Thursday morning in Volusia County.

The incident happened around 6 a.m. on Smith Street at Kentucky Avenue in DeLand, according to the FHP.

Troopers said a homeless man claimed that he was struck by a vehicle, but an investigating is ongoing.
