Florida State Fair begins Thursday in Tampa

The Florida State fair begins Thursday in Tampa at the state fairgrounds.
There are many events scheduled, including The Xtreme Sports Show and an Elvis Impersonator competition.
In addition, there will be plenty of deep-fried foods, from pickles to oreos and even deep-fried Kool-Aid and bubble gum.
CBS affiliate WTSP in Tampa has created a list of five things to enjoy at this year's fair. They include the batcopter ride, the food, and a Florida history exhibit.
