ORLANDO, Fla. -

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will make a campaign stop this weekend at the University of Central Florida.

After visiting Miami earlier in the day, Mitt Romney's running mate will speak at UCF at 3 p.m. Saturday in an event dubbed by the campaign as Orlando Victory Town Hall.

The event is open to the public and tickets can be acquired at Romney's website.

Ryan will visit Lakeland on Friday.

Ryan visited The Villages, a Central Florida retirement community, in August, where he touted his Medicare plan.

Recent polls show President Barack Obama leading Romney in battleground states.
