Girl, 3, drowns in Orlando pool, deputies say

Deputies say girl wandered from home, fell in neighbor's pool

ORLANDO, Fla. -

A 3-year-old girl has drowned after wandering from her home and falling into her neighbor's Pine Hills pool, according to Orange County deputies.

Deputies said they received reports of a child possibly drowning at a home on Stidham Drive in Orlando at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday

The girl, identified as Janiah Francios, was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital, where she died.

Deputies said foul play is not suspected.

An investigation is ongoing.
