Gunman pistol-whips Deltona gas station clerk

Volusia County sheriff's deputies are searching for a gunman who pistol-whipped a clerk at a Deltona gas station.

The gunman stormed into Deltona Discount and demanded money late Wednesday night.

Sometime during the robbery, the gunman pistol-whipped the clerk before running off.

Deputies have not released how much money the gunman was able to get away with.

Seminole County sheriff's deputies are also assisting with the search since the robbery happened near the county border.
