OCOEE, Fla. -

Ocoee police are looking for two suspects who they say shot a man during an attempted home invasion after arresting one suspect.

Police said they were called to 1298 Plumgrass Circle, in the Reserve of Meadow Lakes for a home invasion Friday evening.

Police said the homeowner answered the door after the doorbell rang, and the suspects tried to force their way in.

When the homeowner tried to close the door and prevent the suspects from entering, police said he was shot through the door.

Police said two men and a female were seen running from the home, getting into a car, and driving off.

Police said they found the car abandoned in a nearby neighborhood.

Police said the homeowner was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. His condition was not immediately released.

Police arrested one man, 19-year-old Tyree Spratt and charged him with attempted first degree murder, attempted robbery while wearing a mask, possession of a handgun, and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
