You can lead a horse to water, but apparently you can't make it swim.
South Florida authorities had to rescue a horse from an in-ground swimming pool Tuesday afternoon.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto tells The Palm Beach Post that the 30-year-old horse named Andy had jumped a fence and landed in the Loxahatchee swimming pool.
A 911 caller alerted authorities, noting that the horse's head was above water. It took about two hours to rescue the animal.
