ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -

An Altamonte Springs city worker was taken to a hospital Thursday morning after becoming trapped beneath a lawn mower at Cranes Roost Park.

The accident happened around 8 a.m. when the industrial mower slipped at the edge of the lake and slid down some rocks.

When the mower hit the rocks, it flipped over and trapped the worker, who was alert during the incident.

Altamonte Springs freed the worker after about 30 minutes, and he was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
