ORLANDO, Fla. -

Legoland Florida alerted various local media members Tuesday of an upcoming announcement regarding a park expansion, largely hinting a Star Wars theme.

A video alert from the theme park featured the familiar yellow text scrolling through a black space that is associated with the Star Wars films.

The message read, "In two days' time in a galaxy 45 minutes away...the esteemed council of Legoland Florida will reveal a top-secret expansion taking place within the park in the year 2012."

Legoland California features a Lego Star Wars MiniLand, which has been expanded after proving popular with park guests. The Star Wars MiniLand in California includes areas themed around each of the Star Wars films as well as a Lego Star Wars Gallery.

The video says the expansion will be announced on September 6, and ends the scrolling text with the message, "May the force be with you."
