Little Oscar's Weinermobile heads to Orlando to hire college grads
Grads have chance to drive the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile for a year
Oscar Mayer "Hotdoggers", are making a stop in Orlando to recruit college grads.
On Tuesday, Holly Nelson, one of six college graduates taking a cross-country adventure behind the wheel of the Weinermobile, announced she is making three stops in the Orlando area:
- Thursday, April 11 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wal-Mart 11250 E Colonial Dr. Orlando
- Friday, April 12 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Patrick AF Base 1225 S. Patrick Dr. Patrick
- Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Exotic Car Festival 600 Market St., Celebration
Nelson says the events will include activities for families and of course handing out the iconic Wiener Whistles!
Nelson and her co-driver Lots of Ketchup Lisa are two of 12 "Hotdoggers" currently traveling the "hotdog highways." According to Nelson, the 12 drivers were selected from more than 1,200 applicants to drive the hotdog on wheels for a year.
Every year, Oscar Mayer recruits at campuses across the U.S. looking for soon-to-be college graduates who want a little" adventure."
Each team of two is assigned one of the six regions to travel.
