DELTONA, Fla. -

Volusia County deputies continue to search for three assailants after a man claims he was stabbed during a robbery early Thursday.

The victim told deputies he was walking along the 700 block of Fort Smith Boulevard when three men jumped out of a wooded area and attacked him.

Deputies said the victim was stabbed in the upper thigh and claimed he was robbed before the three men ran off.

After the attack, the victim hobbled to a nearby liquor store and collapsed in the parking lot where he called for help.
