LAKE COUNTY, Fla. -

Lake County deputies are investigating the cause of a hang gliding accident.

Deputies said they responded to the Groveland Airport at 6548 Groveland Airport Road in reference to a hang glider that crashed on the runway.

Deputies said one person was taken to South Lake Hospital where he was declared dead.

Lake County deputies said the man was from out of state and are not releasing his identity.
