ORLANDO, Fla. -

Orlando police are investigating the shooting of a man after he wrecked his car overnight.

Police said they went out to the corner of Gore Street and south Orange Avenue about 1:40 a.m. Saturday after a car accident was reported.

While firefighters were trying to help the man, Timothy Stewart, of Orlando, they discovered a bullet hole in his back, police said.

Stewart was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he died, police said.

Police said they have no witnesses to the shooting and have not been able to find the crime scene.

Police said Stewart's wife is 8 1/2 months pregnant with their first child.

Police said Stewart was driving a 2010 silver Dodge Charger.
