Ocoee police are looking for a man they say attacked a store owner in the middle of the day.

Police said around 10:30 a.m. Friday, the owner of Las Tres Banderas at 455 West Silver Star Road was approached by a black male suspect in the parking lot.

Police said the man attempted to grab a bag the owner was holding containing $30,000.00 for the business.

Police said a struggle ensued and the suspect fired his gun into the air and subsequently got his hands on the money bag.

Police said the suspect ran into a mini van that pulled up to pick him.

Police said the mini van was recovered approximately a half mile away and was reported stolen out of Seminole County.
