ORLANDO, Fla. -

Orlando police are searching for the culprit who they say attempted to break in a house Tuesday night by drilling through the victim's door lock.

Cops responded to a call around 10 p.m. on Portlight Drive after the victim's neighbor heard the sound of a drill outside his apartment and saw a white Hispanic male through his peephole kneeling in front of his neighbor's door. The neighbor said he saw the suspect using an orange cordless drill to break in, at which point he called 911.

Police have not identified the suspect. The damage to the front door was estimated at $50.
