FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -

Flagler County deputies were called to a major highway on Thursday morning after a mini-horse tied up traffic by standing in the middle of the road.

Deputies said they went to the State Road 100 near County Roads 205 and 305 at around 7 a.m. Thursday and found a mini-horse walking around, causing traffic jams.

According to a release, deputies guided her off the highway and coaxed the horse toward a patrol car, where they were able to move her out of the road.

The owner was found at around 8 a.m. and the horse was returned to its barn on CR 205.
