Missing boater's family says he was having problems with money, depression
Authorities have been searching for the man since Feb. 7
The family of a missing boater who was reported missing on Feb. 7 in New Smyrna Beach tells the Daytona Beach News-Journal that the man might have been depressed and suffering from financial problems.
Police say 48-year-old Enrique Hernandez, of Apopka, left home on Feb. 6 to go fishing in the Intracoastal Waterway. Police found his truck and boat trailer the next day at a nearby ramp, but after several days of searching were unable to find Hernandez or his boat.
