An 81-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease was found on Thursday morning after spending the night in the woods, according to Brevard County deputies.
Albert Hogue left his home in Wedgefield at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday to go hiking with friends, deputies said. Hogue's car was found unlocked on Wednesday and quickly contacted his friends. Hogue's friend told deputies it wasn't like Hogue to be gone so long.
Deputies searched on ATVs and airboats through the night. Hogue was found around 8:45 a.m. Thursday in Fox Lake Park area of Titusville, according to Brevard County deputies. Deputies described Hogue as alone and scared.
