ORLANDO, Fla. -

No New Year's Eve plans yet? Don't fear. even without the snow, Central Florida has lots of events for locals to celebrate the holiday season, including New Year's Eve.

For New Year's Eve, the theme parks offer up various parties.

  • Universal's CityWalk has a party featuring REO Speedwagon in concert, all-you-can-eat gourmet buffet, cluvs and a midnight champagne toast with confetti.
  • SeaWorld Orlando is throwing a party with live music and fireworks.
  • For the kids, LEGOLAND is offering a Kid's New Year's Eve where giant LEGO brick drops at 6 p.m., also known as the midnight Kid Standard Time, along with fireworks and a dance party.
  • Walt Disney World also has a special edition of its Holiday Processional Around the World.

If theme parks aren't your thing, several events are happening in Downtown Orlando for New Year's Eve. Wall Street Plaza is hosting a block party, along with Church Street's block party.

From ice skating at "Light Up UCF" to Winter in the Park ice skating off of Park Avenue, there are plenty of events to choose from to spread holiday cheer.
