ORLANDO, Fla. -

The makers of AeroShot Energy announced Thursday that its new air-based energy product will go on sale nationally in 3,100 Circle K convenience stores in Central Florida and across the country starting October 1.

In statement released Thursday, AeroDesigns Inc. said it is offering Aeroshot energy as a ”healthy alternative to the dizzying array of energy drinks and shots” on the market.

"AeroShot Energy offers a quick and convenient way to get your energy with no liquids, no calories and no mystery ingredients," said Tom Hadfield, CEO of AeroDesigns.

AeroDesigns is launching its first national partnership with Circle K, and has also expanded distribution in convenience and drugstores in the New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, South and Midwest regions.

Invented by Harvard professor, David Edwards, AeroShot Energy is an air-based boost of energy delivering 100mg of caffeine plus B vitamins.

According to the company the AeroShot “starts working right away.”

The company expects to have the product line available in more than 15,000 locations across the United States by the end of the year.
