A Port Orange man caught in a sex sting said he thought it was a trap but still went to meet the child because he was sexually aroused, police said.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that instead of meeting a child for sex, Colton Ellis, 20, was greeted by undercover police conducting the online sex sting.
He faces charges of using a computer to seduce, solicit or lure a child, traveling to meet a child following the use of a computer to lure a child and use of a two-way communication device.
The newspaper said Ellis told police that he has a 6-week-old baby. He also admitted to having marijuana in his car, the report stated.
