Tax season is still months away, but the Better Business Bureau says it's starting to get complaints about a type of fraud that's going after people who file online.
The BBB says e-mails are being sent out that look like they're from the IRS.
The message says there was a problem transferring your tax refund into your bank account.
You're then supposed to click a link to find out how to get your money.
But when you do, that link really downloads a virus onto your computer.
Keep in mind, the IRS says it will never send you any kind of e-mail like that. And if you're really unsure about your tax refund, just call the IRS directly.
