ORLANDO, Fla. -

The Orlando Magic selected St. Bonaventure power forward Andrew Nicholson with the 19th pick in the NBA draft.

A Canadian-native, the 6-foot-9 Nicholson played four seasons at St. Bonaventure and finished as the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year as a senior.

He averaged 18.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in his final college season.

He also fits the mold of the Magic's outside shooting big men, having shot 43 percent from the 3-point line last season as well.

Meanwhile, the Magic selected Kyle O'Quinn with the 49th overall pick in the second round of the NBA draft.

The 6-foot-10 O'Quinn played four years at Norfolk State and averaged 15.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

He is known as a good mid-range jump shooter and good shot blocker, having averaged 2.7 in his final college season.

The biggest questions surrounding him are his conditioning at a stout 240 pounds and his competition level coming out of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
