Osceola County deputies arrested a 20-year-old man accused of entering a Poinciana's woman's house and forcing her to perform a sexual act.
Lyndon DeLeon Scott was arrested late Tuesday night on charges of armed sexual battery, armed burglary, false imprisonment, battery and depriving a victim of 911. He is being held on no bond at Osceola County jail.
According to deputies, Scott was brought in for questioning and initially cooperated with investigators. He told them he entered the home but did not admit to the sex attack.
The 19-year-old victim was able to positively identify Scott, who lives a few streets away from the woman's home.
The woman told deputies that Scott came to her door at 7 a.m. Monday and continuously rang the doorbell. The woman said she didn't answer the door but instead hid inside her house, deputies said.
"I saw him in the window. I didn't open the door for him," the victim told Local 6. "I told him, 'What are you doing ,sir?' He said, 'Shut your mouth. If you do not shut your mouth, I'm going to kill you.'"
The man got into the house through an unlocked back door, found the woman hiding in a closet and forced her to perform a sex act before he fled, according to deputies.
"I said 'No, I'm not going to do it,'" the victim said. "He said, 'If you do not, I'm going to kill you.'"
The woman told Local 6 she believes her prayers saved her.
Detectives handed out a composite sketch in the neighborhood and many people told Local 6 that they've seen the suspect before.
"Every morning, four in the morning, he's in this area," said Pierre Anathol. "Walking in this area."
