Orlando police arrested a man who they say sexually battered a 9-year-old girl on Saturday.

Clovis Moss, 21, has been charged with lewd or lascivious battery, molestation, false imprisonment of a child under the age of 13 during a sexual battery, battery and resisting arrest without violence.

Police said they were responding to a complaint of sexual battery and found Moss hiding in the closet of a neighboring apartment on Mercy Drive.

The victim was interviewed by police, resulting in the arrest of Moss.
