ORLANDO, Fla. -

An Orlando police officer was arrested over the weekend on driving while under the influence charges, according to a Satellite Beach police report.

Police said Jennifer Folstein, an officer with the Orlando police department, was pulled over on Saturday night on State Road A1A after a Satellite Beach police officer pulled her over for speeding and possible impaired driving.

According to the report, the car was "having difficulty driving in a straight manner." The officer could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage from Folstein and her eyes were glassy, the report states.

Folstein told the officer she had a "couple of drinks" and beer, police said.

Folstein performed field sobriety tests, in which she "performed poorly," police said. She refused to submit a breathalyzer test and was booked into the Brevard County Jail on DUI charges, where she bonded out several hours later.
