Osceola County blind puppy looking for new home
Animal Services looking for owner who can provide a safe home
Osceola County Animal Services is looking for a home for its 3-month-old blind puppy, Stevie.
Although his eyes still respond to light, Stevie has always had trouble with his vision, but he's learned to use his nose to navigate around and find other pups to play with at Animal Services, officials said.
The department is looking for a new owner for the brindle pup who can provide a safe home with a fenced-in yard along with other stipulations.
“He really needs a family who understands his needs,” said Kim Staton, director of Osceola County Animal Services. “We know there’s a home out there with loving and dedicated people, who can provide a safe, structured environment where Stevie can lead a normal life.”
