CenturyLink customers in Winter Park are unable to use their land-line phones.
The company said it's working to restore communications services after a network outage hit the area.
Anyone needing to use 911 in the area is urged to use a cellphone.
“CenturyLink’s priority is customer service and restoring communications,” said Lisa Willis, manager market development in Central Florida. “We appreciate our customers’ patience while we work to resolve this issue."
