Overnight shooting leaves 1 injured

Palm Bay police are looking for someone that shot a man early Saturday morning.

Police said detectives and crime scene technicians are currently investigating this shooting incident. 

Police said at 3:53 a.m. Saturday dispatchers received multiple 911 calls from residents in the area of Mariposa Street.

The callers reported hearing gunshots, police said. 

Police said a short time later dispatchers received a call from the hospital reporting a male victim arrived in the emergency room with gunshot wounds.  The victim is a black male in his early 20's.
Detectives are in the process of identifying and interviewing witnesses and processing the crime scene for evidence, police said.
