Pair nabbed at Universal Orlando to return to New Hampshire
Judge accepts fugitive couple's extradition waiver
A fugitive couple charged in connection with beating and burning the woman's 3-year-old son waived extradition on Friday and voluntarily returned the state.
Federal marshals took 23-year-old Jessica Linscott and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Roland Dow, into custody Wednesday evening while the duo was watching a parade at Universal Orlando. They had been on the run for two weeks.
An Orange County judge accepted the extradition waiver Friday morning at a court hearing. Neither Dow nor Linscott were in court, according to Orange County Clerk of Court. It's unclear will they will return to New Hampshire.
Dow is charged with assault in the case. He and Linscott face multiple charges of child endangerment for failing to protect and get medical attention for Linscott's son, James, who remains hospitalized.
