Man arrested, charged with aggravated stalking
A Palm Bay man was arrested Friday for sending what police say are threatening texts to his estranged wife, according to Local 6 news partner Florida Today.
Robert Allan Eagle, 42, is accused of sending messages that said he was considering killing the woman and their daughter with a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun.
“…i might just take us all out the with a 12 gauge shot gun i bought today for fifty bucks im sawing the barrel off 1 foot that would blow somebodys head clean off easy i also got a box of buckshot the most powerful ammo u can get for a 12 gauge im not sure what i want to do yet but its not gonna be good…” (sic)
A Palm Bay officer who responded to the woman’s home witnessed several of Eagle’s messages. Police set up a perimeter around Eagle’s home and arrested him after a brief standoff. He was charged with aggravated stalking.
