Ocala police are searching for the gunman who they say shot two people in Marion County and dropped them off at a gas station on Interstate 75.

Police said they found that the shooting occurred sometime before 2 p.m. Wednesday at a home on SW Second Street because of an officer working in the area hearing gunfire and finding the home and a vehicle with bullet holes.

The two victims were left at a gas station near Exit 341, causing County Road 484 to be blocked while police investigated.

The victims' conditions have not been released.
