A man who police said posted harassing messages on the Web site set up to help find Jennifer Kesse was arrested March 12.

Tyler Green, 28, is charged with written threats to kill or do bodily injury and cyberstalking and harassing. He had been posting the messages since last year, deputies said.

Jennifer Kesse's father, Drew Kesse, asked the man to stop in February and even blocked his address from the Web site, but when Green refused to stop and started posting threats to Kesse's father, an arrest warrant was issued, deputies said.

"For some reason, you have an individual who has chosen to go after us via telephone at our home and also on Jennifer's Web site," said Drew Kesse.

Green allegedly claimed he knew what type of cars the Kesses drove and said things like, "I hope you don't get into an accident."

Authorities interviewed Green's father, Larry Green, on March 2. According to the arrest affidavit, Larry Green said his son suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder that manifested into paranoia and schizophrenia after the death of his maternal and paternal grandmothers.

Larry Green said he was aware that his son had episodes, but did not realize they were creating problems for others.

Tyler Green is being held at the Lake County Jail without bond.
