Woman has short term memory loss, police say

EDGEWATER, Fla. -

Edgewater police are searching for a woman who they has been missing since Wednesday.

Police said Denise Boisvert, 61, left her Edgewater home at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Boisvert didn't bring any identification or money with her.

Boisvert's sister told police that it's not normal for Boisvert to leave and that she has short term memory loss because of medical issues.

Boisvert is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet, 1 inch tall and 140 pounds with short dirty-blonde, graying hair. Boisvert's family told police she typically wears a black or dark blue fanny pack.

Police said she could be riding a white beach cruiser bicycle with orange baskets on the front and rear of the bike.
