A new Public Policy Polling survey finds the presidential race is still a tight one in Florida following the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
The poll shows there was no change following the RNC. 48 percent of Florida voters support the president while 47 percent support Mitt Romney -- the same results from a poll taken in early August.
Researchers also say there was no clear shift toward Republicans following the convention. While a third of voters said they were more likely to vote for GOP candidates, two-thirds were either less likely to vote Republican or didn't change their views following the convention.
The poll also asked voters about Clint Eastwood. The actor gave an unscripted speech at the RNC in which he spoke to an empty chair representing President Obama.
While 40 percent of Florida voters didn't like his off-the-cuff speech, nearly three-quarters of voters still said they liked Eastwood.
