When Powerball organizers decided to hike ticket prices to $2, they also promised bigger jackpots.  Wednesday's prize may be the first sign they're keeping that promise.

No one won the $200 million Powerball jackpot after Saturday's drawing.  Wednesday's drawing increased by $50 million to $250 million.

In January, Powerball organizers raised ticket prices, but also promised jackpots would increase by a minimum of $10 million if nobody won.  The starting jackpot also increased to $40 million.

Wednesday's live drawing can be seen on Local 6 just before Local 6 News at 11.
