DeLAND, Fla. -

Almost three months after a small plane crashed into its roof, Publix supermarket officials say the renovated store in DeLand will reopen on June 28.

Three customers and two people inside the plane were injured April 2 when the experimental craft crashed into the store less than two miles from the DeLand Municipal Airport. One man died of injuries suffered in the crash.

Supermarket officials told the Orlando Sentinel a ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for 7:30 a.m. on June 28 at the store in Northgate Shopping Center.
