Brevard County fire investigators are trying to determine what caused a two-story home to go up in flames.
Firefighters were dispatched to the home, located at 6765 Las Pamos Drive, at 3:14 a.m. Monday.
The first units arriving at the home found fire and smoke coming from the rear of the structure.
According to firefighters, there were no fire hydrants in the immediate area of the home. It took crews 1 hour and 40 minutes to extinguish the fire.
Two adults were inside the home when the fire started, but they were able to escape safely. The American Red Cross will assist them.
