APOPKA, Fla. -

Reckless driving led to an Apopka man being stabbed, police said.

The stabbing happened Tuesday afternoon in the area of Timberline Road in the Chalet North mobile home park.

Officers said they were called to the area because of complaints of a reckless driver.

As officers arrived in the area, Apopka dispatchers received calls about a stabbing.  Police found 28-year-old Armando Angel Cantero-Chaven with a stab wound to his chest.

Witnesses told officers that Cantro-Chaven was driving recklessly and was confronted at his home by 58-year-old Lorenzo Sanchez-Bellot.  Cantro-Chaven punched Sanchez-Bellot in the chest, according to police, who said Sanchez-Bellot reacted by stabbing Cantro-Chaven.

Sanchez-Bellot was arrested on aggravated battery charges. He will be formally arraigned Wednesday morning.

Cantro-Chaven was listed in stable but guarded condition at the hospital.
