New Royal Caribbean cruise ship will begin sailing from Tampa
A new Royal Caribbean cruise ship will begin sailing from Tampa next year.
The Brilliance of the Seas, which replaces the company's Jewel of the Seas, will sail to Western Caribbean. Four and five-night trips will offer stops in Cozumel, the Cayman Islands and either Key West or George Town.
The Tampa Tribune reports the 2,112-passenger ship will undergo a major renovation before debuting in Tampa. New amenities will include more dining and entertainment options, revitalized staterooms, Wi-Fi, digital way-finding stations and an outdoor LED video wall.
Passengers will be able to book cruises on the Brilliance of the Seas starting May 17.
According to Royal Caribbean's website, the Brilliance of the Seas currently offers amenities including 6 pools/whirlpools, a spa, and a signature rock-climbing wall along with 16 bars and lounges.Royal Caribbean,
